Kano state government has declared Tuesday, October 4th as Public excursion to mark the starting of the new Islamic calendar 1438 A.H. The Islamic New year is on the primary day of Muharram, the primary month within the lunar Islamic calendar.
The state government had on Friday, 30th September, 2016 prepared a prayer session at the executive apartment Mosque in Kano, to herald the brand new Islamic 12 months, which coincided with events marking the nation’s 56th anniversary get together.
