68% Of principal, Secondary colleges’ teachers Are unintentional lecturers – NGO




The Centre for studying and academic progress Advocacy Africa says 68 per cent of main and secondary college teachers in Nigeria are “unintended lecturers”.
Its government Director, Daniels Akpan, instructed newsmen in Kaduna on Wednesday that the development was hampering delivery of high-quality education.
Akpan mentioned: “Over 68 per cent of lecturers in predominant and secondary faculties in the country are lecturers now not on the grounds that they want to be lecturers however they're lecturers in view that they cannot find any other job.
“The easiest possibility they found was once educating and accordingly, they're educating without passion, without motivation and and not using a curiosity.”
